Temporary exhibition on two floors / temporary exhibition Sphere

>>> 01.05.2010-16.05.2010

The Expo 58 was a wonderful spectacle with an impressive architecture that appealed to ones imagination. Most of these buildings have disappeared and those still existing have been transformed following their destinations.

The presentation of thirty or so of these pavilions reconstructed in their original state on a reduced scale - from the pavilion of Brazil to the pavilion of Japan including the Arrow of civil Engineering and the legendary pavilion of Philips - will immerse the visitors into the magic of the Expo 58 and its creation of a rich, dazzling, daring and colorful architecture.

The Expo 58 in miniature will as well appeal to families searching for some recreation as to experts.

The scale-models were realized with high precision by the University of Ghent and will exceptionally be shown all at the same time in the Atomium. An extra reason not to miss this event!
