07.08.2020 > 11.08.2020
Due to extreme heat and the limitations of the construction of the building, the temperature inside the Atomium can be extremely high.
Therefore it was decided to close the Atomium at 2 pm on Friday 7 August during the heatwave (last admission at 1.30 pm).
Unless the high temperatures allow for a pleasant visit, the Atomium will only be accessible from 10 am to 2 pm from August 7th to 11th.
The opening hours of the ADAM – Brussels Design Museum, 150m from the Atomium, do not change: from 11 am to 7 pm (last admission at 6.30 pm)
Should you have purchased your ticket online, you can use it on another day until December 31st, 2020. If you cannot come back before the end of 2020, please contact the platform that sold the ticket (Viator, Tiqets, Get Your Guide, Visit.Brussels, Dertour, Klook, etc...).
We would like to inform you that the nearby park Mini-Europe is open every day, from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm (last entrance) during the weekdays and from 9:30 am until 7.00 pm during the weekend.
Booking via +32 2 474 13 13 or on the spot.
The Restaurant located in the upper sphere remains however open at noon as well as in the evening.

We do everything we can to provide you with a pleasant experience during your visit, something we unfortunately cannot guarantee at the moment during this heatwave, which has been as announced until August 11th.
