Experimental exhibition about light in the frame of the UNESCO International Year of Light 2015.
 
The Atomium organises together with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel the exhibition ID#2015: Discover the power of lightThrough this original digital creation, the Atomium brings science back to the forefront.
 
All aspects of light and light technology will be presented. Visitors of this exhibition will discover the importance of light for life on earth. All facts of light  and light technologies will be on show. Different aspects of light and light technologies are illustrated at the Atomium during a show full of special effects and animations in a 360° projection. The visitors are immerged in the fascinating world of light.

The Atomium and B-PHOT organize this exhibition together. B-PHOT is the photonics research group of the VUB. Photonics is, simply said, the science of light.

Guided visits
 
 
The Vrije Universiteit Brussel organises guided visits in combination with workshops for primary and secondary schools.
A workshop for teachers is being organised on June 10th and June 17th 2015 at the Atomium.

This exhibition is situated on levels 3, 4 & 5 of the Atomium (temporary exhibition Sphere).

Daily, from 10am till 6pm (closure ticket office at 5.30pm)

 

Entrance fees

The access to the temporary exhibition is part of the visit of the Atomium and as a consequence there will be no extra costs.
